by United We Go, published on 5/3/2023

Are you ready for an unforgettable experience? Join us at the annual City of Mural Festival hosted by United We Go, collaborated with other local non profit organizations in Bay City, from Sep 8 to Sep 10th, 2023, in the heart of downtown Bay City, MDL alleyway.

The City of Mural Festival is a 2 days event filled with live music, food trucks, local vendors, live art, and a unique live mural. The centerpiece of the festival will be a collaborative mural created by different mural artists that reflects the core values of our community, building owners, and United We Go. The mural is a symbol of co-creation, unity, harmony, community, partnership, family, and more.

We invite the entire community to participate and celebrate with us, anchoring co-creation, diversity, and inclusion in our community. Our mission is to bring together local small business owners, minority business owners, independent artists and musicians, youth, veterans, and the LGBTQ community to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

The City of Mural Community Festival is not just an event, but a movement that aims to restore the memories of Bay City, make it feel like home again, and bring back the "city of murals" to Bay City. This year's festival will be held in an alleyway, and we will work with one building owner in the community to bring a live mural to its wall. We want to inspire everyone to feel connected and welcome in our community and create a brighter future together.

In addition to the live mural, the festival will feature a diverse lineup of live music, showcasing local musicians and performers. There will also be food trucks, offering a wide range of delicious food options, and local vendors, selling unique items that you won't find anywhere else.

The City of Mural Festival is a family-friendly event that provides a safe and inclusive environment for everyone. It's an opportunity to connect with your community, celebrate diversity, and enjoy the arts.

We are striving to create an art festival that is truly put on by the community, for the community! Which means, we need your help! Through the link in our bio you can currently apply to be a LIVE ARTIST, a MURALIST, a FOOD VENDOR, & even a VOLUNTEER!
